Ecotech Solar Offers Free Backup Power Assessments Through February 2026
Bellingham, WA, January 6, 2026 – Ecotech Solar is offering free backup power assessments to homeowners and businesses through the month of February. The complimentary assessments are designed to help people better understand their options for staying powered during outages caused by winter storms, grid disruptions, or unexpected emergencies.
As interest in energy resilience continues to grow, backup power solutions such as battery storage and solar plus storage systems are becoming an important part of home and business energy planning. Ecotech Solar’s assessments provide personalized guidance based on a property’s energy needs, existing electrical systems, and goals for reliability and sustainability.
“Our goal is to help people make informed decisions about backup power,” said Amy Vergillo, Community Engagement Specialist at Ecotech Solar. “A free assessment gives people clarity on what solutions make sense for their situation, without pressure or obligation.”
During the assessment, Ecotech Solar’s energy consultant reviews current energy usage, discusses critical power needs, explains available backup options, and reviews current incentives available. Customers receive clear recommendations and next steps tailored to their property.
Eligible customers who need to power essential medical devices, are enrolled in Puget Sound Energy’s (PSE) Bill Discount Program, or lack access to food and healthcare, may qualify to receive up to $10,000 in incentives from PSE to help offset the cost of installing battery storage. Ecotech Solar helps customers understand PSE’s program requirements and determine whether they may qualify.
The free backup power assessments are available by appointment only and must be scheduled by February 28, 2026.To learn more or to schedule a free assessment, visit ecotechsolar.com or call 360-318-7646.
