I began working with Ecotech in the architectural definition phase of the rebuild, and they were great in assisting with plans that ensured the new home would meet expectations. The initial solar installation got us close, but the added energy load from charging an electric car resulted in a small expansion required of the original installation. Ecotech was great to work with throughout this two+ year endeavor, and was an essential and enthusiastic partner in achieving net-zero living. After one year of operating the final configuration, we realized our dream! I highly recommend the Ecotech team as they know our local PNW energy environment and truly embrace customer service.

Can I give ecotech solar 10 stars? Entering the solar world was a new experience, and the ecotech staff made it an effortless, economical and enjoyable experience. From evaluating whether my small home was a good candidate for solar and explaining the process to designing the arrays to fit in with existing skylights, ecotech made it easy. Costs were explained and office staff kept the paperwork organized. Installation was fast and efficient with a focus on customer communication. The ecotech electrician explained how it all worked so I was comfortable. Staff handled all the commission details with PSE. After all the work was done, ecotech checked back with me to walk through post-installation details (like how to keep roof moss from impacting the solar panels and exploring the online portal and mobile app). Feeling good about generating clean energy, love how it looks, and happy to be part of the ecotech family.

Ecotech did a stellar job on my solar panels on my detached ADU. I was in the process of putting a new roof on my house and needed to have my existing solar system removed and reinstalled. The original installer (8 years ago) is no longer in business and the company that bought them out has a terrible reputation. I contacted all the local Bellingham solar installers and EcoTech was the only one that was interested in doing the job. I was also interested in making a moderate expansion of my system. The bottom line: the reinstall and expansion was done in a good professional manner, and the cost was well within reason. Their design, scheduling, communication and documentation was outstanding. I would highly recommend them.

Installed a 6.6kw system in 2020, everything went smoothly. Since then I purchased an EV and had ecotech add 3kw system to the existing to account for at home charging. Everything went smoothly once again. They got me scheduled asap and it was a 1 day install. Ecotech is the best, so friendly and easy to work with.
