Great people, education, service and a local world class bellingham business

“In 2020 we remodeled the Grant Street building to meet our needs, based on the input of our entire team. Ensuring we had solar was one of those top line items to improve our sustainability and reduce utility costs over time. The Ecotech team not only installed our system, but they have continued to educate us on the best way to track the data and interpret it as we measure the impact of solar on our bottom line as well as our carbon footprint. I highly recommend Ecotech – great people, education, service and a local, world class Bellingham business.”

Federal Tax Credit: 30-50% for commercial projects through 2027. Additional benefits for committing in 2025

100% Bonus Depreciation: Deduct the entire cost of your system in the first year (more beneficial than the previous 5-year MACRS schedule)

WA Sales Tax Exemption: Total system cost is 100% exempt from sales tax in Washington for systems under 100 kW AC through 2029

Direct Pay: Nonprofits, municipalities, and tribes can receive a 30-50% federal tax credit in the form of a direct payment

Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs): Systems can connect to the PSE grid and function like a power plant. PSE pays you for your production

USDA Rural Energy for America Program (REAP): Businesses and farmers in rural areas could receive a grant for up to 25% off the cost of a solar system

Community Solar: Provide local clean energy to your community by leasing your large roof or property to PSE. We will partner with PSE to install and maintain the solar panels. PSE owns the panels, and you can receive compensation for the use of your roof or property
