Founded in 2004, Ecotech Solar began with a clear mission: to bring high-quality solar solutions to Northwest Washington through technical excellence and a genuine commitment to community. Dana Brandt, an electrical engineer with deep roots in renewable energy, started the company from a place of curiosity, care, and determination—values that still guide us today.
What started as one person with a vision, has grown into a leading solar company serving the counties of Whatcom, Skagit, Island, and beyond. Along the way, we’ve helped shape Washington state’s solar policies, brought solar to thousands of buildings in our area, forged countless impactful relationships, and built a team of dedicated, caring professionals who believe that how we work matters just as much as what we build.
We’ve stayed true to our local roots while becoming a trusted partner to homeowners, nonprofits, businesses, Tribal communities, and public agencies throughout the region.
